Loving Words for My Grandchildren


They tell me that we have a permissive society
allowing conduct which intelligent persons know
damned well is contrary to a life necessary for
falling in love, marriage and having sweet babies.
Someway, somehow, we've been fed the garbage
that we can have promiscuous casual sex and still be
loving husbands or wives. We know by now that
such practices are filling divorce courts and seeing
second and third marriages before turning forty. .

In an age of gross excesses we see around us
obesity, drug addiction and irresponsibility
in sexual appetites acting as if these arid family
activities and will not harm the children.
Casual sex is growing through the work place,
neighborhoods and gatherings including church.
Married partners bored in routine living get
convinced that affairs are entitlements. In the U.S.
it appears that we are approaching the end of
marriages that work for a civilized moral people.

Self gratification is taking over too may lives
creating a challenge for true happiness which is
almost impossible to meet. The only remedy is
found in the discipline of marriages with true
and dedicated love for each other and family.
