WISHING FOR SNOW?

Why do we wish for snow

when it’s hot outside?

And when it’s cold and stormy,

we dream about the sun?

So, when you’re sitting on the beach

with the hot sun in your face,

don’t be surprised if you begin to crave snow.

You have touched upon a human trait that is often described by the cliché, "the grass is always greener…"

While I can do without snow, I find that I miss autumn every year. Wishing to go back and live where autumn is in full color, I would have to face long, cold, dark winters once again.

As for the sun. Sunning myself every day in this heat, I am finding that I can only stand it for about 15 minutes. The beach is literally off limits for me now. As are making snowballs at first know. Part of my past, now.
