“This Utopia”




As I taste the wind across my tongue,
The flavor is so nice to me—I breathe, deeply
The sun, I smear and mash into my skin—
The milky rays feel lovely; they are something
I will always want to keep—and, so, with the rain,
Warm and wet—soothing—seep … into me
Grow these grasses for my inhabitants—shape
The world, I am, and they live in—nourish our place
The wind, it moves over me, softly touching—
Sometimes, makes me giggle freely—happy, to be,
Here….
