Tie azure sky, the day so brightly clear
The puffs of white to doctorate the sky
Come walk with me. Tis such a lovely day.
Down by the river. Let us rest a while.
We sit and talk of that we would discuss
And as the hours slip most slowly by
The sun in western sky commence to set.
And twilight finally settles on the land.
Azure gives way to darkening indigo
And yonder moon so full arises bright.
The evening star is seen in eastern sky
We start to walk toward home a hand in hand.
And back at home. 'Twas quite a lovely day.
And soon it will indeed be time to sleep.
