Modesty Lost

Hospital Attire

One of the things that gets me down

Is wearing an official hospital gown.

In some hospital room you strip bare

and put on this silly gown to wear

You’ll notice the garment has a lack

Of material enough to close the back

but the staff does not seem to care

about your exposed derriere

Its hard to feel debonair

With butt cheeks hanging in the air.

When you go strolling down the aisle

you’ll flash everyone a vertical smile

I must say in my defense

I have better fashion sense

So I’d ask you all, “Cut me some slack

and please ignore my exposed crack .”

Very, both true, and funny at the same time. A real keeper.

That hospital gown certainly seems to be a butt of disagreement. But we all come in our birthday suits and should be proud of them. We should just, "grin and bare it all." I think the whole problem is that we tend to let ourselves go so that we are embarrassed by our own bodies. Don't blame that on the gown. Confess and let it all hang out.

My physical condition has made me pretty exposed most of the time. Not at all embarrassed over it anymore.

And on that note, here is my crack of a smile. No doubt often thought but rarely said.

Yes. I agree with Ed, it's too funny but also TMI.
I bet they could charge an extra 5-10 for a special bun cover.
But what would we have to talk about after the visit was over?
Loved the humor!

This is truly funny, and actually TMI, I don't want to think of how others look like in their hospital gowns, as I always wear my undies without track marks hopefully...-e-
