This delight reminded me of a favourite Uncle who addressed me in his thick Lancashire accent - cf Palin's accent as the father of 42 children in Python's Meaning of Life - affectionately as 'Buggeroo'.
Oddly, I found myself reviving the Ringo Starr hit from 1972, .Back of Buggaloo.'
Now, where's his Best of...CD?
