Poem Artwork

Come and tame the wild night.
Capture her and hold on tight.
Have you come to release the savage beast?
To light the candles and take the feast?
No one sees what's truley inside.
Behind responsibilities and pride.
What lurks beneath is something more,
Closer to the primal core.
Through the layers of evolution,
to quench this urge there's but one solution.
Yet we cover up, and do not reveal.
Only the fantasies we steal.
Tell our true needs and wants?
What lies beneath prim ways taught?
The need to be lost and found,
to shatter the coils of sound.
The need to let the inner Goddess out!
To not sit in want and pout.
The need to let go and hear myself roar.
Let passion, need, love sweat pour.
It's all too much I let myself down.
How do you say, "Just throw me down?"
