Saffron soul supine
Merged forever in time
Unconditional love is ours
Touched by heavenly design
Binding devotion runs deep
Within our souls sacred keep
You and I have been brought this way
To heal the wounded heart of man
Sending signals sweet to salve
Anointed affection amongst all around
Trust and honesty to discharge
Offering hope and faith to the fallen ones
Removing the pain of abandonment
Enlightening the path of holy tranquility
By deeds of charity and relief we spread
The balm of Gilead to those in need
Sovereign succour served for free
Upholding the Creator's final decree
Treat each other the same as thee
Solace soulfully streamed sublimely
Gladly given as a gift of God
Divine dreams diffused in sync
Travelling through the tracks of time
Regal and royal ruler
Architect of epochs and aeons
Mysterious mist that no one can discern
Enveloping the veil of the temple
Stretching back through all eternity
Seals and scrolls of the Chosen One
Heralded by angels and cherubs
Lay your holy hands of blessing on us
Consecrating our mission supreme

Just Heavenly! Gorgeous poem that shines
above all your others! The love you have for God
is evident. I wish I could be as confident. I have other
people pray for me while I worry! Then, the worry was usually not necessary! God did not come into my life til I was 18 yrs. Better late than NEVER, correct? (grin)
Almost sacrosanct, Peter. You have written a piece that not only inspires an awe because of its own beauty, but you demonstrate a Godly awe and wonder that is in itself a glorious revelation of the power of a very real presence of God in your life. Good old Zephaniah - or is it Zechariah? - talks about the fact that we shall be His jewels when the time comes, and you show your worthiness for such an accolade with the faithful witness of this wonderful write.
