WOW!!!!!!!!!! I am enthralled and captivated by this piece, Peter, as with all your pagan/Christian-style writes. And I am intrigued... I perceive that the sacred and profane are an undeniable fusion... but to name someone, something "pagan" that is "self-professed" as being devoted/betrothed to God - how can that be?... Sorry, am I being really dense here? I understand that heart-love for God can sanctify us, but does it work the other way - that we can be "pagan" whilst yet loving God? Maybe my mandatory glass of evening wine is making me a bit sozzled?! Veils of mystery indeed - this is a most wonderful "series" that you are creating here. Please do continue - and forgive my obtuseness if I'm being a bit crass! TY Kate xx
