Of the Ancients
Buzzards circling
In spirals of majesty
Soaring the arid thermals
Of the wilderness
Primeval knowledge
Linked our souls
Dreamtime degrees
Communicated in ceremony
Secret and hidden
From the profane world
Tokens , signs and validations
Gifted from the Source
Emus and ostriches
Strutted the plains
Dingos and foxes
Stalked for their prey
Didgeridoo drones
Resonated loud and clear
The Southern Cross
Dominated the celestial skies
As we frolicked
Down Under in joy
Midnight Mystery
Flooded the meridians
Encircling Ayers Rock
With energetic endorphins
Consummating our sacred bond
Equal before God's All Seeing Eye
With neither having prominence

... Sounds a bit more atmospheric than Stonehenge - warmer, at any rate! Mmm - whets my appetite for a bit of a globe-trot sometime in the not too distant future, Peter.
