Repost of an oldie recited with an Irish dialect. Happy Saint Pats :)

When you're lonely and blue
Mixed up and confused
When you're feelin the misery and pain
Grab a carpenters screw
And hammer it through
Your thick skull till it reaches your brain

Then give it a turn
and maybe one more
just till you come to your senses
And realize that life
Don't evolve around you
Its not all houses with white picket fences

Life's what you make
Its not always a hoot
and if you can't break free of the past
Go grab a shotgun
Swallow it deep
Then pull the damn trigger and blast !

Such a dark write for such a bright day, but it is definitely you, Ed...and as always I enjoyed seeing you posting...I think if I had me druthers the shotgun would be the way to go, the screw sounding painful, and it would have to go pretty far in before finding my brain...Ed

ROFL!!!

I remember the first time I read this. Your black sense of humour might not be appreciated by too many but I enjoyed this as much as I did the first time. Would 'enjoy' be the right word? lol

...Your Snuggles always

PS: I'm missing you madly. I know we agreed to keep our respective dens strictly business due to our working relationship but I can't comment on your poetry and hide my feelings. They are what they are. I am so in love with you!

The Man Who Saved Christmas by Jeff Ovall

Christmas - only days away; plastic snowmen and glowing reindeer adorn the lawns of neighborhoods all across America. All is calm, all is bright, and yet there is something tragically wrong about this Christmas night. With swift passage thr
