Everything you just mentioned in my opinion will come back to devestate us if the Dems. get re-elected. But they all have thier share of blame. Nicely done. I worry more right now about our safety and the Dems. Simply are not a war party. I like Joe Lieberman. He is one Dem. that stands his ground NOT his political party. Your poem brings to light the need to vote, regardless of which party you lean to.

Indeed it IS about the issues..however many choose nonchalance..pity..it really is the same everywhere..too few are aware..the rest sleep..alas..God help us indeed..

My beloved Eddy, I'm not a political creature and don't pretend to know too much about American politics (yet) but I agree with the premise of this poem. People need to make an informed decision when they cast their vote. It's not about loyalty to a particular political party or even about any one individual, it is about core issues. Good thought-provoking write.

Remember to Vote... {{{ I am independant and flip with the voting system..... But if one doesn't vote then no voice off afterwards right...
