Every day I come on line to visit
Perhaps share a word or two
With a lovely Dixie lady poet
A real Southern belle it’s true
She was born down in Savannah
Where the fragrant magnolias grow
One of a brood of eight children
Where the warm gulf breezes blow
Her poetry of the old South
With her pride in her heritage
These are masterpieces of belonging
And her works will never age
She can turn a man’s heart to romance
When she puts on her southern drawl
If she had faced Red at the Tara mansion
I think she could have made him crawl
Now I guess I’d better get to the point
Some of you may already know
Tomorrow marks this lady’s birthday
So let’s all wish her love to go….

Thank you from all of my heart. It's awesome when we get birthday gifts but it's incredible the more when we don't expect it. Your attention to me is most rewarding and if I were close by you'd be covered in Southern warmth and kisses with a little Savannah Sweets thrown in for good measure.
Love to you my great friend and you never can tell what the future can bring. I never doubt for a minute that life can give us the most awesome crossroads when we least expect it.
