Another Marvelous Lady Of Myth

In a phallic tower to the heavens

Sat the maiden with her fears

Entrapped in mason’s stone forever

She sat bathing in her tears

Her hair no blade had ever touched

Though Midas craved it’s silk

Of youth trapped in legend’s time

Slipped the time like soured milk

O’er hill and dale her voice rang out

She sang the ballads of hearts a glow

While down below the season’s  changed

From green grass to the pearly snow

All hope seem lost and such the cost

When kingdoms tyrants kept

Then from the North the land of ice

A bold knight downward,downward swept

She looked down and he looked up

And in between sparks ignited air

Lowered her guard, opened her heart

So he could ascend her lovely hair

The knight unlocked her belt of chastity

The evil King sealed to defeat fate

Now what transpired in phallic tower

Future bards could only guesstimate

A woven ladder of fine black hair

Was all that stayed behind that night

When damsel fair with shortened hair

Rode tomorrow’s dream at first daylight
