Just some late night thoughts...

Mind Meanderings

I have walked alone through inky waters

I’ve been tested in life’s smoky fire

I have witnessed the apocalypse beginning

And the high priests of love castrate a liar

I have seen angels fall and devils repent

Witnessed the lover’s plague sweep a land

I was there when 666 was stamped

Upon the upright, self-righteous hand

I knew saints who once were sinners

And I knew sinners I bowed down to

I stood silent vigil on my wailing wall

Graceless, my heart knew not what is true

Yet all that I knew well before thy time

When I first heard flutter of angel’s wings

When my inborn emotions played and danced

As if on the end of a puppeteer’s frail strings

Then lips climaxed to the Gods own wrath

As passion the planet justly came to rule

For I to drink sweet elixir in your beauty steeped

While the heaven’s answer errored cruel…

I know Fee. Our minds do meander much of late. A sad state of affairs we have in the world today. Smile my friend and simply take one breath and one day at a time. Very well written btw. God bless.

Mind meanderings, thoughts of todays man, of a yesterday hopeful and certainly a tomorrow unbeliever because the gamblers out of our control bet our bread and life in a chance of double or nothing.
Fee, to be gloomy doesn't suit you, you are a man made of smiles.

Georg
