Most people would not believe how little you need to do to make someones whole day brighter...go visit the elderly this Christmas...please

All Of Santa’s Children

 

Today I went to see a few of Santa’s children

Their smiles lit up room and heart

So happy to have a visit from Santa

What a Christmas way to start

 

I brought them each a tin of cookies

The can must have been made of gold

They couldn’t thank me enough it seems

In there quiet home made for the old

 

A nice cup of tea for dear old Santa…

I said I don’t mind if I do

Santa we thought you’d forgotten us

 Now we know that’s just not true

 

Well we sang a song about my Rudolph

How he once led my sled one foggy night

Their voice’s may have been a little scratchy

But these angels joining in just seemed so right

 

When it was time to go they held my hand

As on each cheek I placed a goodbye kiss

Merry Christmas to all of Santa’s children

Let none be forgotten is Santa’s fondest wish

How very beautiful Santa and so very true. This little Elf brought cookies to 81 seniors last Saturday and you are right, it don't take much to feel their smiles in your heart. Something everyone should do. Thank you for sharing.

Every Christmas, my daughters do this...visit the elderly with our church group........and I can see in their eyes the happiness that they feel in having brought happiness to others. Wonderful write, and Merry Christmas to you, Santa Fee!

I work, part-time, in an assisted living complex & know from what I see & hear that what you say here is so very true...& if you have relatively behaved dogs, those folks love to have them visit too...Ed
