It is always amazes me when two poets of uniquely different styles can come together and work as if mind and heart were one. This offering is one not only a poem I enjoyed cowriting with Michelle but one I am really proud to share...

Poet’s Prophecy

By: Michelle Mead and Felix Perry

Pressed between the pages truth

Where old lies wear new suits

To camouflage the righteousness

of their twisted anchored roots

Upon the base of seasoned aches

Where desired memories remain

In shadowed path of empty sins

Alas, fair honesty again is slain

Left to bleed an ignoble death

A grave unmarked and cold

Warmed only by a lover’s tears

This poet’s prophecy foretold…
