Changing Paths of Time

By: Fee

if I could change the path of time to where love was just a thought, where two hearts never beat as one, where tomorrow wasn’t just last night’s dream

where your smiling eyes and tender lips, your satin skin and curves tres sensual, where I never heard your velvet voice, or the hint of passion’s scream

where hope was just an empty promise, and faith but a mystery, where craving and desire were a solitary act, back to that place where I have been

where my teardrops didn’t matter, where rules were meant to keep, where you were content to just be, and two souls as one but just a daydream

if I could change the path of time there would be nothing there to change, for time brought us together and all that’s love is in between…

Oh! if I could have changed my paths of time...other parents perhaps? other planet? your words make me think...and that's bad too, or good?
Now you could twisted my brain...if I had one...

Fee,
I think we all wonder what if.... This is a romantic expression of those type of feelings. I also like the coffee-house writer vibe here - with the picture and the lead-in. Love and Hugs,
Sheila
