An apple bounced off Newton's head Oops! That's relativity! When Archimedes sloshed his bath Eureka! Serendipity! Watt was watching carrots boil Fleming thought his cultures spoiled Kellogg found his corn went wrong Yet now his empire's going strong. Makes you think, these old mistakes That clever brains affected Why are scientists funded now? They ought to be neglected!
