Divorce? Eighth Henry did it twice He wasn't pleased with either wife "I liked her not" cut too much ice (At least Anne/2 could keep her life) Cathy/1 - a technicality (Blamed a fit of illegal gallantry) Anne/1 had lovers, far too many (Though she claimed she hadn't any...) Post wedding 3, Hal lost sweet Jane And so he had to wed again - Anne/2 - o'er flattered by the paint (That was Henry's mean complaint) Cathy/2 was a naughty girl With other men in bed did whirl While Cathy/3 had common sense Firm discipline she did dispense... "Stop, please stop!" Hal/8 did scream - "Stop it with the revolving queens! One by one they're out the door - Death preserve me marrying more." And mercifully, soon death did - So Cathy/3 got to keep her lid...
