I love this title - classic! You are prolific - picture is lovely; if that's where you live you've got it made. The day comes softly here too but being inland, I prefer it from the inside this time of year (read: Insects and biting flies!)
PS: my Vermont trip was canceled due to expense. You know how fleeting a Vermont summer is! - later, michael

A wonderful nature poem. You're lucky to have such a marvelous view. Just think of all those city people who see nothing but buildings, streets and sidewalks all the time. I feel blessed that I live in an area where I, too, can enjoy nature.

Beautiful. I've always loved poems about the beauty of nature that we so often forget. Wonderful. This is similar to a poem I wrote called Ode to the Morning, but it was about the desert.

So nice to be near a lake or water. That would comfort me too. This write is so natural and good reading. Lots of luck in the future writes, I love your poems, they uplift my heart and make me want to go on living and enjoying nature.
