Some times the simplest things in nature can awe and inspire!

Poem Artwork

Storm clouds moved across
the sunlit sky on A
sultry midsummer day

Thunderclaps echoed in the
distance while lighting
images were on display

Droplets of silver rain
began to fall,
covering earth and sea
They brought moisture and
freshness where ever life might be


Ribbons of pastel colors
formed across the darkened sky,
painting a picture of beauty
and light to the beholders eye

Transfixed by its splendor,
feelings of peace filled my soul
The rainbow with all its beauty
was a wonderous sight to behold

This is warm and captures the essence of rainfall and subsequent rainbows - I've never quite been able to get "rain" in my writs - so I appreciate this piece.
