Once again fall is here and the colorful mountains of Vermont beckon.

Poem Artwork

Let us walk in the woodland
amoung the colors of fall.
Vibrant flaming reds,orangery orange
and gilded golds, beckon to one and all.

A coolness settles over the land,
as autumn's majesty prevails.
At night the harvest moon shines
over every hill and dale.

Oh how I love to hear the crackle crunch,
of dry leaves beneath my feet.
Drinks of warm mulled cider are
always such a special treat.

As days pass by and
the beautiful leaves begin to fall,
the splendid autumn colors,
will soon be lost to one and all.

Give thanks to the master painter,
for all he shared with us.
We were once again touched by his
glory in this land we love so much.

A beautiful, colorful poem. Let us hope that the powers that be will be able to stop mountain toping and other destructive practices so that we can get all the power we need without destroying these beautiful forests in the name of the economy.

Dear MaryGrace,

I loved your poem but I especially loved the last verse.

It is definately worth repeating:

"Give thanks to the master painter,
for all he shared with us.
We were once again touched by his
glory in this land we love so much."

Peace, Love and Blessings,

John Michael Domino

A lovely sharing, MaryGrace. Sadly, this autumn, because of unusual weather patterns, the colours of autumn were not able to be their best around here. Love and best wishes,

Regis
