Quick! My Husband’s Home!

Gradually sleepy I begin to feel

Yielding my being under sleep’s heel

From her I didn’t want myself to peel

Under her spell I seemed to reel

Heavy my eyelids did appear

My weariness so very clear

My eyes open no longer I could bear

A trip to dreamland was so near

Surrounded by sexy fantasy women

I feel I am the man among men

This wondrous harem my blissful pen

Wishing it could forever be my den

Martha butterfly kisses she does shower

Ennie hot massages under the bower

With Tunu’s nibbles I holler as she goes lower

Doris teasing fingers I lose it and get a tower

From my sleep to wake I’m abruptly made

My harem with a poof away it does fade

“Quick! My husband’s home!” I’m bade

Her scream as sharp as a razor blade

From the bed I jump like a hound

In this divan I didn’t want to be found

In my mouth my heart did pound

In the room frantically I looked around

So scared I felt helpless and wee

Anytime on myself I felt I would pee

To catch me here I didn’t wish on me

It was too dark my shoes and pants to see

Lord, my horny behind where to hide

The closet, with my beer belly it wasn’t so wide

Under the bed, it was too tight for me to slide

Behind the curtains, the fabric too sheer to hide

The wide French windows I then looked at

Should I hide outside butt naked like that?

Either that or on my head will feel the angry bat

So rushing to the ledge I felt like a rat

Over the window my leg I quickly did lift

In a rush I tripped as I wasn’t so nift

I missed! This nightmare I wish I could shift

On the roadside I see my life that was gift

From the thirteenth floor to my death I gradually fell

‘Ooh God help me I promise I will live well!

I’ll never again.’ with tears my eyes did swell

‘My wife I will cherish and love,’ the night I tell

Save me please so with her I will grow old

Cherish her more than Tanzanite and gold

Together we will grow wrinkled and bold

I cried as I plummeted in the night that was cold

The twins Dan and Stan I then did spot

Locking the store where my grocery I bought

Where is a tree when you need it I thought

God help, I don’t want to end up a blot

It hits me as my naked butt the wind does fan

Those are my neighbours – Stan and Dan!

Escaping from this now there is no plan

Too late as there was nowhere to run

Realized too late as to my death I head

Always spoke in her sleep those too deep to tread

The woman screaming murder from my home and my bed

Oh God, that was my wife, the woman I had wed

Not from someone else's wife I had fled

Another great write my friend that got me hot, nervous and excited it is too bad that my fiance is in Jamaica or else he would get it. it sounds as i a man writes our poems but if not these are very good. if my man was here he would get it in the worse way.

This one is my favorite of your September poems, so far. It just is so real--needs to be heard by the world around you in a much greater way.

What a loop-the-looping write this is, Sandy, and accomplished with aplomb and tireless metre and form! Hooked from the sleepy beginnings to the panic end and what a roller-coaster in between. You took us to the heights and depths with this one - and then some! Loved the big build - and the twist of the turn at the end. There are SEVERAL morals in this one, you sassy, clever lady! And all done with a lightness of touch that is delightful. Great to be reading you again! Glad to see you in "take-a-break" mode... this certainly goes down well with a good mug of coffee and is less fattening than a biscuit - AND more comforting! :)) WTG! LOL Kate xx
