For years now I have roamed the catacombs
no longer do I obtain the vitality of my former self
Nor do I feed on human flesh anymore
I have sunk to the lower food chain for my thirst

There’s nothing like a little rat-atouille for a snack
I finish it off with a nice lick of the cavern walls
Somehow  mold grown on limestone
gives me a bit of a boost
to my otherwise shallow existence

I belong here, it is my world
My sky is the crackle of mortar speckled with mica
My ocean is the sewage
filling the passages with its unique aroma
The fields of wheat
are but the growing fungus feeding on decay
My possessions
are those thrown away by the up-worlders
Yes Homo-sapien Sweet home

Don’t be fooled though,
I still hear all with my Vampiric ears
I know of the cruelty, greed, vanity, terrors
and tremors of the world above
At one time We were considered the Monsters,
Sucking blood from hapless victims to feed our own fancy
So Superior were We to these mortals.
Our deeds of evil and inhuman atrocities
struck fear in our prey

Now we are but an amusement
a fairy tale for Motion pictures
Man has exceeded us as the Monsters
Nothing we could do, would compare to what he has done
to his own kind

Maybe Just Maybe
its time to show them what real horror is
I hear in the misted winds there is a ball coming up
LaBelle Of The Ball
I thinks its called

Hmmm! I wonder
Just Maybe….
