A Big Party Just For Me

If I knew today would be my last

I’d get on the phone and call them fast

I’d invite all of my old friends

To get together and remember when

So many people I’d want to see

I’d plan a party just for me

We’d order food and a keg of beer

Being with friends would ease my fear

I’d ask everyone to wear a smile

And hold me for a little while

I wouldn’t need anything fancy

Just a big old party all for me

I’d want dancing and lots of love

Everyone exchanging plenty of hugs

We’d talk about the yesterdays

And I’d tell them all I’d like to stay

But I’ll soon be free

After this party just for me
