Message of the Ouroboros in 2006 is combining spirituality and religions

King Solomon and the Ouroboros

Almighty Ouroboros,
we sing in Queen of Sheba's
chorus.

King Solomon's reign
in constant tension
and apprehension

between two
conflicting orientations
in Holy abberation

that be

Faithfulness to
God of Israel

vs

Fulfillment of the
Judaic religious
percepts,

Dynamic Ouroboros
clashing
concepts.

King Solomon
neglects the
Israelite God,

encouraging pagan
rituals that dulled
his rule

in Ouroboros
dual.

King Solomon's
superhuman wisdom

united the
Imperial Kingdom

that lasted for only
two generations,

drinking from the
Ouroboros Grail,
Holy libations.

Ouroboros.

The end is the
beginning.

Ouroboros.

you should do a booklet of these poems with some background tidbits or art. quite intriguing these are and informative. Kenny's comment that you are a time traveler hits on something I have sensed. you are doing more than telling what happened or even drawing conclusions; I get the sense you are placing us in the action, Sage, and then tapping us on the shoulder and saying, "see here, consider this." fascinated by where you'll take us next, Dawn

Sage, I would have loved to have seen Solomon's Temple - cedars of lebannon, jewel-encrusted place of pilgrimage, seat of learning, and the Queen of Sheba popping in every so often to bask in the great man's wisdom, and he to drink in her wondrous beauty. A fair exchange. You're a time traveler, Sage. Ancient Israel today, and tomorrow? Roman Britain, maybe: King Arthur and the Holy grail. Will Ouroboros pull the sword from the stone? Watch this space! :-)) k

What else can I say after Kate Burnside's review? You do provoke us to think, imagine, and go on a journey to the past...

My God, my God... this rings so many bells my head thinks it is midnight on the 31st already. Being someone who is heavily into both sides of this dynamic hypertensile fence... or rather, someone who has weighty spiritual experiences on both sides, I shudder and quake and know that, Man, are these things real. Just don't get me started on Freemasonry. I leave with a scream and a whimper.... speaking of which, it will be interesting, I think, to see what nature deals us at the stroke of the Turning of the Year... Give me some Rosemary beneath my nose, quick, Sage, lest I forget...

I love Nordette's review below, very funny but also true
Yes...
King Solomon was reputed to have used the Great Magical Shamir Worm to cut and shape the stone, that constructed King Solomon's wondrous temple, his dappling in the Occult led to his downfall as it has others, the lesson being " A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing "!
However there is a fascinating and compelling linkage between Pagan and Christian Deities, which is best seen in the beautiful icons and
masonry of the famous Rosslyn Chapel in Scotland.
I am truly enjoying this edifying and instructive series Sage
You are touching on some uncovered truths here!

And what was blamed for King Solomon's double-mindedness? His weakness for "foreign" women. Boy that Solomon, wise but what a lady's man, constantly torn between devotion to earthly love vs. devotion to spiritual love. Worshipping God in form and fashion (religious ritual/duty/what we do to be seen/acts if the flesh/attachment to the world/pleasing others) vs. Worshipping God in Spirit and Truth (a genuine relationship and love of God undiluted/seeking God with the whole heart). Oh, let me leave before I run a guilt trip on myself. LOL Keep punching us in the brain cells, lady. ~~Nordette

Yes, old Solomon eating his own ass. Can't wait until you get around to the great Satan. Us as in USA, because I feel we are doing the same, but our reasons for America's Ouroboros may very well differ. Not necessarily. We'll see. I'm liking what you are doing here, Sage.
