Part of the lure
The willingness to accept risk
Being at the edge of uncertainty

Forest

Woman

You've come to know the height of passion
Enriched the lavender fields in nontradition
A place that stirs the imagination
For all of its forbidding characteristics
It is legendary in mystical attraction
When we tie our fantasies to the bamboo
When we flick off the lights, the stone walls twinkle
With the reflection of the stars that spotlight our climax

Forest

Woman

Curiosity in its speedy growth
Primeval
Shrouded by mist

Forest

Woman

Creatures of fear and fantasy
Prowl the underbrush
Moisture-laden clouds wrap it in mystery
Soothing trade winds nurture lush regions

Forest

Woman

Too tight of a grip can strangle
It has taught me that it reveals
Itself at its own pace
When you do find it
It is beautiful, absolutely breathtaking in structure

Forest

Woman

Fantastic capture of the mystical attraction between curious female and the mystique of the deep, dark woods, Sage - which I know has been a part of MY life since I was very small. This brings out the Little Red Riding Hood in me for certain sure and places an adept finger on something that even now I feel is hinted at and yet remains concealed in the dark reaches of my psyche. Perhaps the overarching forest represents the cloaking and the undisclosed potential and mysteries of the womb, and so represents a kind of "back to the womb and female" nurture experience. I am fascinated by the soothing and tranquil effects of this write, when, with muscular memory, forests and undergrowth have usually a more subliminal sense of menace and brooding. Your header lines also make me think that once the decision has been made to enter into risk, then that brings with it a certain peace, as if another higher level in life has been attained. It is the skirting round the issues, like a moth to the flame, that makes life permanently uncomfortable because the "prod" is always there and yet, if perpetually declined, makes dissatisfaction a prevailing anxiety. Well, this write has made me think for certain sure... Could go on but better not... could say your second set of three lines above has taken hold with me!! If you had written just the two words: "Forest... Woman", I might well have said all the above again! Is it Sunday yet?? :)) yabbayabbayabba.... K xx

Holy __ this is good!! Form is so creative, and I can see
the bamboo. . .stone. . .mist. . .and underbrush. "All of above"
and something more that I sense between the lines. This could only
have come from the rhinestone-studded, lavender and cerise pen of
the inimicable and personable Sage Sweetwater. Sing ON!! 'Pea' <3

My mind accepts. Getting closer to
what youy have said here in poem. I lost a woman,
my expartner who lived in Missouri, due to health, she had many diseases as do I.

Doctor took a bunch of blood from me yesterday. He is a
hematologist and believes I have "blood cancer".
Wish me good luck! I see him on Monday.

Diamonds are a bit closer now, all of them.
