A Prayer For Our Troops and Our Country on Christmas

The words from this poem come from one that I wrote recently. I just extended gratitude for our troops on Christmas.

A Prayer For Our Troops and Our Country on Christmas

For all that are coming home and for those who are not.

We pause today and take time

to give our reverence and appreciation.

We all “Thank you so much”

for those willing to give the ultimate sacrifice,

so we can enjoy freedom, peace and our way of life.

We salute you!

God bless you!

God have mercy on us.

In God’s Holy name, we pray on this Christmas day.

May God continue to Bless our beautiful country, the U.S.A.!

A touching write my friend, thank you for your recent review of my poem from 2006 A New Years Prayer...I've been away from the den for a couple of months working on other projects but have finally made my way back. It's great to read inspirational poetry, stories and poetry of support for our troops...God Bless America! Enjoyed and look forward to visiting again soon!
