Sometimes playing too hard may not be a winning strategy after all...

Poem Artwork

Here we go!

She is at it again.

She BEAT me in cards!

Once again and then again!

But the BIG Championship Game is today.

This time I will win, I will put her away.

But wait, I may win at this silly game

But I might lose at life

Now won't THAT be be a shame?

Witty humor! Always let the woman win, it's the safest bet of all. ;)

Truly would be...maybe you need to let her win! Enjoyed the poem, the obvious excitement for the game.

Another great work, "Brother John"! It would indeed be a travesty to win a game of cards, or anything else for that matter, by "shady" dealings, and lose at the most important game of life.
Of course this does not apply to you.
Continued success-

I never feel happy when I lose at cards. Not that I'm a card player, though I think we all like to win. cheers

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: She WON the game fair and square. Boy was she ever HAPPY!

Guess what...so was I.

LESSON: When Ma Ma is happy - everybody is happy!

Thank you for sharing your poem, John Michael.
Life is a game of "give and take", creates the magic
balance that defines who we really are.
There a times, though, when all we want to say is
"give me back your takes, sorry isn't enough".
Regards. Isabella.
