It seems like a fantasy, that's so uncanny but so surreal

But Irma is headed our way and this hurricaine is very Real!

We are up a creek without a paddle and we just have to pray

That's because we were told Irma is barreling down and is headed our way!

We live by a peaceful creek that links to the Gulf of Mexico

But Irma is a "War Goddess" and she is roaring to go! 

So hear we are, waiting for this force of rain and wind to come our way

We have to pray for a miracle that folks heed the warnings and will live to see another day!
