Violets are one of my favorite flowers - I learned to paint it at an early age--I think 2nd grade
Oh! Little Violet Oh! Little Violet, My Little Violet You are as sweet as you can be In your coat of royal blue How I wish that I were you You stand there all alone As if the world to you belonged You are so very shy Under the blue, blue sky In the early spring you take delight You shine in the early morning light You are delicate, beautiful and shy And as unreachable as the sky

I love violets too, Marguerite. I also love pansies and the lily-of-the-valley. Very pretty flowers this time of year! In addition, I also love daffodils, lilacs, the irises, and tulips. Spring is always a lovely time of year! Very nice write; well done!
