Now EDvard Ole Brothers is feed up with Li'l Brother Jersey Ed trying to provoking a war and running with the tail between his legs to Kentucky or PeeWee throwing barbs and running to the woods for "fishing", both brothers let him alone on the lurch to defend himself from all the deranged females around! A thing he doesn't like very much! ! !

Poem Artwork

Don’t be surprised of our many feuds
all families have something wrong,
in ours, that suffering hillbilly Ma
didn’t got a child but a mongrel dog,
baptized (?) with PeeWee for a name
a “creature” most ready for the pound.

Then we have the loony Space Cadet
that give lots of troubles to his bros
by starting fights no one ever wanted
and then, will you believe?, chicken out!
leaving his tolerating brothers in a lurch
to fend the enemies with what they got.

Now, Sis Tiger Lily seems so sweet, but
not bet on it your last dollar or a coin,
she is a conniving female of the species
smiling sweetly and giving bad turns
now and then, just for jealousy and spite,
to yours truly, Ed’s family’s first born!

Finally, we have Ma trying to be a poodle
when is reality she is a mean old wolf
consuming our diverse father with a delight
that only a good sybarite gourmet could
have so much pleasure for manly flesh
as the children around her she has forgot.

On the periphery of the family we have…
crazy Canadians that for a fight always spoil,
I am not talking of our lovely cousins
but those of the female persuasion Canucks,
that should be minding supper in the kitchen
and industriously mending the men socks.

Well, no collection can be complete if you
don’t include the deranged AD females too
that for no reason will burn a pink lace bra
and hare brained intruded in a man’s war,
they use our pants and smoke our cigars
but pee…they will always do sitting down!

EDvard, El Magnifico Ole Brother

Hi Georg, There is nothing wrong with burning bras! It's a great day when I get home from work and can take the darn thing off! I call it "Mother Freedom"! But sorry for the intrusion... (smile)

Smokin' especially in that last line, Georg, which incidently I will duck for cover as I hear the whistle of an incoming female missive coming your way and about to explode. The moxie you displau in this poem is beyond reproach. Your charming way of introduction to the characters here is appreciated and leaves the reader wanting to know more. Well done, George, nice to know that all families have something wrong with them, not just mine, before I smuggled myself out of the country by mailing myself C.O.D. to Sweden in a Refrigerator box, for a cheap vacation. How soon is my room going to ready, ole' pal? Open up the Scotch and have my ready on the rocks when I get there, cause if I read anymore poems like this I'm going to need stitches from splitting my side with laughter. Thanks, George, I needed that!

Unbelievable! I'm not even unpacked yet from my trip, and you and Jersey are at it already. Mean Wolf Ma has already called me, and for your information, I like bein a Mongrel - all five of my mutts are Mongrels!

PS: I can't believe you've also now turned against our sweet sister, Tiger Lily - the only one who defended us against those Crazy Canucks. For Shame!!

Now Georg, when you hillbilly American brothers get to feuding you know there are always repercussions but when you pick on our fine Canadian women, each and every one of them a purty Angel but with wit, intelligence and insight...man you are brewing yourself a big old teapot full of trouble. Hope my cuz Rose don't see this one for she will be telling her hubby to pack the Harley they're going hunting chauvinist meat...lol
