Being old stinks, sucks, ain't fun, and when our inside scaffolding junctions starts to squeak and brittle taking us down a couple of inches...yes, it sucks!
Then again, we can't just take it lying down, we have always the HD alternative,
HeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwww!

Poem Artwork

Old, being old stinks to heaven, they want you
to commit yourself to one of those old-folks
parking places and behave like a good geezer
and forget trying to ride into the sunset, now…

There’s a beauty holding the roar of 1200cc
and all the road she can get to drive along,
HD are her name initials, and all you need
to straddle her is to be a man that’s old enough.

Ain’t gonna lie down and eat Jell-O pudding
when spareribs are waiting on every biker’s stop,
for deserts some hot babe hiking a free ride,
some Quaaludes and blue pills will man pop.

So, when that old hag of a nurse come tonite
the light of your room dutifully switch off,
remember this old geezer laughing all the way
as he rides into the sunset with the Reaper along!

Quartz light to guide me, till sunrise leads, my passion screams, my heart it bleeds. That's from a Judas Priest song called "Desert Plains." This poem reminded me of that song. Motorcycles, of course. Enjoyed, take care.

Georg,

You're something else. It's glad you can be so full of life as young as you are! Loved the pic and the poem.

Hey, Georg, some of us old guys can still pull ourselves up and do some swinging... A bit, okay, a lot slower now than in days gone by, but we can still swing. As far as jello; never liked Jello and don't eat it now. Chocolate pudding, yeah, but Jello? Nope!
