Running toward the dawn of my dream
Each step closer to the heat
Each step further from the concrete life
My wings growing stronger with step

Flying toward the dawn of my dream
Butterflies in the morning sun
Wings glistening as they lift the soul
Lighthearted bathed in golden glow

Like base gasses in the atmosphere
I rise above the whole earth
Floating toward the dawn of my dream
Wafting like a song on a breeze

Soon, soon the dawn comes!

The "winged" effect here is very good, Sandi.
One feels a lifting towards an anticipated euphoria,
with this "dawn" you are reaching out to.
