Inspired by a gorgeous morning on the bayou.. written in that tumbling tercet thingy again. Hope you enjoy!

At Morning dawn breaks... moon whispers away beyond day's horizon and life takes a deep breath of misted promises rising from still water dreams... oak and willow bow to yawning sun in their quiet requiem of renewal and rippled songs of yesterday are heard in memories distant, drifting upon musty breeze... time stills in a contented heart and its soul rejoices... how easy it is to become lost in the beauty of the bayou at morning 2007

My fiance lived on the bayou for a time
and he says you cannot believe the beauty
of the area until you come and see for
yourself. This poem is one of my favorites
Myrna. Each poem just continues to get
better and better.

I have often dreamed about seeing the bayou, many of my own Acadian ancestors after Nova Scotia's expiulsion of them eventually ended up down in the bayous and flourished there and it has always fueled my imagination each time I saw, read or heard anything about it. Love this image you painted with your words.
