I wonder if any of us will ever truly understand the 'miracles' we experience... a week ago on Dec.16th we had sleet and a few snow flurries and today I was given a miracle.. I hope you enjoy!

Unexpected

It is barely a whisper, this breeze
Laced with magnolia's scent, this touch
Of lemon-kissed sighs... surely this

Is my imagination, is it not...
For this is December, winter's birth!
Curiosity, ever the winner, takes my

Hand, lays within it a bloom
Of petaled velvet, a gift unwrapped
And seemingly misplaced by time...

But a familiar buzzing alerts me
I am not alone, nearly shattering
The moment until I realize, like me,

They are in awe... and willing
To share the unexpected, this flawless
Miracle of winter's first morning

Exquisite Myrna. The beauty of your poem makes the cold of today seem almost bearable.
