an unexpected moment, when all
seems right with the world,
when time moving forward can
be heard in the silence, when
words still unspoken can be
gathered and tucked away
for other moments and other
memories, when the scent of ordinary
and the taste of anticipation touch,
become one, and we breathe it,
inhaling deeply, drinking in
an endless breath, the miracle of...
this perfect peace
The perfect peace...this poem reflects what so many of us would give so much to find. Sadly for most and for whatever reason this is often just out of reach.
