A soliloquy that I hope you all enjoy...

Bleed

I sit beneath velvet skies
Imagining the richness of midnight
The dusted beauty of starry light
Cradling Sister Moon

I sit beneath indigo and azure
Contemplating the feeling of blue
The warmth and chill, differing hue
Of skies, of life, of me

I sit beneath the glaring sun
Trying to plead indifference
To the disturbance of silence
That protects my heart's secrets

I sit beneath clouds of gray
Anticipating their cleansing tears
That sustain me through the years
Quenching my thirsty soul

My faith lies within these skies
That cushion stars and moon
My hope drifts in indigo and azure
But their colors do not define me
Nor does the truth beneath the sun
Of exposed fears, revealed secrets
Perhaps I am, after all, shades of gray
That bleed confusion into my soul

Makes me wonder if you are talking about those, “Shades of Gray." Nonetheless, another one of your beautifully crafted insightful poems about what you see from your vantage point full of colors and bleeding confusion.

Ah, when we begin to analyze ourselves most of the time (speaking only of myself, and Lord knows I have analyzed myself enough) we start going here and there and adding this and that until in the end we completely confuse ourselves.
