Are you tired of these poems about snow yet? I have written many of them. I am embracing the oncoming spring but I must admit I am always fascinated with the snow. March is an interesting month. It can be warm, windy, snowy… even rainy. One thing itis not is boring.

Poem Artwork

Once more I sit inside my window
Watching the flakes of snow that flow.

They ride the March winds but slowly sink to the ground

Where they join others with nary a sound.

The ground is white and the sky is gray.

The snow is the only thing that brightens the day.

It dances and waves, it swirls and it curtsies as to the ground it falls.

Once it lands upon the ground the wind moves it here and there as if it crawls.

This is called a Robin snow for it will not last for long.

It is nature’s last taste of winter as the March winds sing their song.

I watch the snow and find myself mesmerized by its constant flow.

Soon April will come with spring showers that will wash away the fallen snow.

A perfect poem with the snow! Miss it from Texas, it doesn't snow much here, but I have great memories about it...

Tired of reading your poems, Lew? Not a chance!:) As long as I can watch the snow from my window and don't have to drive in it, I'm okay with the falling snow. I must admit, I do feel sorry for those who have to face the elements whatever they might be. Still, it's March...winter can't last much longer. Don't forget clocks spring forward this weekend!

God Bless
Lena

I did enjoy the reading of "Snowbound". Its contents poetized to flow and announce the spring approaching to deliver a new season, gave it a special singing.

I salute You, Poet.

Snowfalling is beautiful, and lets face it, if you are gonna be cold, u might as well have something pretty to look at..justifies the cold i say. Here it's like the desert, Hot by day, cold by night, and no rain, no snow, no nuffin, blah..
So i like reading about snow LOL.

A beautiful poem with perfect reflection of a white snow and the winds carrying it through the air. I hate the thought of spring showers taking it all away.

Dear Lew,

You've captured the lightness and fleetingness of the Robin snow.
