They use the earth without consideration.

They dirty the air and the water throughout the nation.

They find economy of far more importance than the Earth.

They suck it dry of it’s ecological worth.

They drive around in automobiles caring only for comforts.

They take no time to consider making the effort.

The Earth grows old and is being used up by the industrial revolution.

This is a melancholy part of mans evolution.

We have grown weaker and wiser but not wise enough to understand

of the world we leave behind for our children to withstand.

For they, my friend is comprised of you and of me.

If we do not work our children will have no life to live.

Let us learn to withstand the inconvenience so we can give.

Give to our offspring the life they deserve.
