Have you noticed that big business will spend millions of dollars to find someone; anyone who will become a nay sayer? Global warming is simply a part of nature, they say but they offer no answers. They like their ranking on Wall Street so much that they will not allow themselves to see. Meanwhile the earth is developing more problems. Will it end up just like Mars and the other planets we know? Will it be one more barren sphere revolving around the sun?

The ocean holds many of life’s mysteries; things we do not understand.

Its waves are forever flowing; pounding upon and rearranging the sand.

What has the sea witnessed long before man ever was?

The sea moved continuously before we were and today it still does.

If the sea could tell us where our lives are heading; have you wondered what it would say?

The secrets of all our yesterdays are recorded on its waves that come and go but never stay.

Is the sound of the waves the seas way of crying out for us to hear?

Could it be if the sea could talk it would tell us our doom is looming near?

The polar caps are melting and the waves will soon move inland.

Our shores will soon be under the sea; more sea and much less land.

We have not heeded to cry of the sea or the air or the plants or all of natures cry.

We continue to cut down our forest for shopping malls which causes me to wonder why.

Why do we not notice that our technology can be both good and also bad?

Why do we insist on going our own selfish way?  Our children may never know what we had.

Wake-up all humans and open your eyes and try to understand.

Our works have brought us luxuries but thanks to them the end may be at hand.

My first thought as I saw your title "Sea" led me to think that this would be a peaceful write. Wrong! Still, I loved your write, reminding us to listen to mother nature and heed her warning.

Seeing what you wanted me to see,
Kathy
