Though April showers may come your way
They bring the flowers that bloom in May

Poem Artwork

It teases one with the promise of summer
And yesterday was sunny but today is a bummer
The warm sun rays are replaced with skies of gray
April is like that, weather changes from day to day
A beautiful day with temps in the seventies
And blue skies with white clouds that are heavenly
Can be followed by a day with winds that are cold
Yesterday was beautiful but cold temperatures make me feel old
What will tomorrow be? This I really can’t say
But the liberating factor is it will soon be May
In the meantime I live through the Mysterious month for another day
When summer finally arrives I will shout for all to hear, “hooray”

April is like that - it truly is, but May is usually wondrous.

Lew, Very nice. As a former Michigander, now living in Florida, this brings back a lot of fond memories. "yesterday was sunny but today is a bummer." It also reinforces my reasons for living where I do. Thanks, I needed that. Dick
