i guess the moral is, when it comes to hunting turkey don't stick out your neck too far ;)

A great twist at the end, Ronald. I will think of this mean ol' turkey as I baste the one in my oven. You have somehow leveled the playing field with this, relieving me of any guilt I may have had for the bird. Hitchcock has nothin' on you, Ron.

Hey... my first "Touche" poem of the day and it's a doozy, Ronald. There I was, head a-bobbin', feet a-tappin', enjoying the marvelous rhymes and rhythms (gave it a 98, cuz I was dancin')... and then... KA-BOOM! the snappy ending, polishing off this fun experience with a well-deserved grin**
