Good one. This is funny and all too true. In your little election, which actually goes on every day in one form or another, I'm voting with you. So little care is taken with the language these days. It's (did I do that properly?) a shame. Ha! Thank you.

The pen does not knows its rights from its wrongs when it's flowing ink upon paper. That is the responsibility of the one conducting the pen's movements. As for change, it has, for the better, I say it is not. Was this change due to evolution? Was this change due to a concerted effort to effect change? I think neither are true. Should we protest and demand our language be practiced with all the applicable rules adhered to? I think yes. Now I have voted and it's time for our language to have its rules enforced by the language police, grammarians. The nays have it Ron. I voted early, then went to one of the political tents and spoke with one of the candidates. Afterward, I said "If I had known you were such a nice guy I might have voted for you." I could see tears welling up in his eyes as I departed, content in having done my duty.

Ironically, at the end of the week, no matter who takes office, America, and congress, will still be divided. A man of conviction U B, Ron. Hoping all is well...

Unfortunately, ignorance, and its accompanying lexiconic impoverishment, prevails with far too many standing in the voting lines. Thus, I vote "No" as well.
