WITHOUT OUR BOY
Something strange is going on here;
This family has lost its joy.
There is something sadly missing
when a home's without its boy.
(Mike): Growing boy who's like a shadow,
wanting to be just like his dad.
Mowing lawn or swinging golf clubs,
finest boy a man ever had!
(Cindy): He was such a darling baby;
Now he's sprouting up, tall and fine.
Noisy, messy, thoughtful, loving;
I am SO proud to say he's mine!
(Chelsey): I thought he was only trouble;
pesty, bratty, teasing "pain,"
but my life's so dull and boring,
I need my brother home again!
(Rex): I miss all his rough and tumble,
teaching tricks and ruffling my fur;
He nestles, wrestles, throws my ball;
and immitates me with his "grrr."
Things are quieter at our place,
neater than they were before;
but our hearts will feel heavy
'til our Jason returns once more.
Jason is a patient at Children's Center of Dayton, Ohio. It is hoped that, even while he takes daily chemo pills, he will be able to go home soon and go back to school. The hospital is almost 2 hours away from his home.

My heart to yours. There is so much pain and suffering.. a 12-year-old boy..
Your entire family is close to my heart. If anyone's faith can turn it around, Sis, it is yours.
Much much love & prayers & tears. R
