When Valentine's Day is nearing 

We think of those we love, 

And I remember sweet Jesus, 

My Valentine from above.

 O Holy One of Israel,

You gave your heart to me ~

You came from heaven to the earth 

From sin to ransom me.

Your heart was broken for me

To prove your love was true .

I need no other valentine ~

My heart belongs to you!

I'd gladly bring you flowers,

And candy would be fine,

But I will give my life instead

To you, My Valentine!
