I could be devastated by the news I got today;
But I prayed I'd be contented with the plan God sent my way.
I thought I Knew His purpose -- the place I soon would live --
I even saw it in my dreams ~~ the lovely home He'd give!
Then He took my dreams away from me -- And closed the door so tight;
But He opened wide His better plan and said, "Child, it's alright!"
"Keep following and be alert; Your life is in My hands."
"When I reveal the end of it, 'tis then you'll understand!"
And what a wonderful surprise it was!

Recently my sister, building their perfect retirement home close to their earlier dream home, was happily surprised, to sell the larger home before it was ever on the open market for the price she wanted. Almost a miracle, because she expected it would be on the market a long time and that they would have to lower the price to sell.
