Become thunder to roll
Reverberating through layers
Of clothes, Flesh, Being
Uncomplicated power
Simply explained
More moving, more meaning
Than the complexities
We weave each day
The more closely I
Dare to,
Care to
Look at us all
The sillier it becomes
Messy mazes of
Propriety and behavior
Clarify, yet appear
All the more senseless
As Mother Nature
Thrills, cracks, booms
Or quietly warms or chills I
rediscover her
To love and embrace
The all, here, now
That once seemed so mundane.
