Let me go back to bed, I say I want to sleep some more Fluffing pillows under my head Just let me sleep and snore
Mommy, Mommy open your eyes! It’s time to wake and see We want you to get our Poppin’-tarts now and turn on our little T.V!.
Daddy, Daddy, what are you doing? Do you have to work today? Mommy pulled the covers right over her head Then told us both to go back to bed!
Alright, already I’m just resting a bit Can I please have a few more minutes? Well, we can’t go back to bed you guys cause it seems your both still in it!
Honey I’m telling you, this is getting way old This just isn’t working anymore! When are you building that extra room? This last past Fall is what I was told!
I promise I’ll do it when I get the time Soon you can sleep and snore I’m waiting on that extra dime, you know Then he just rolled over and fell out on the floor!
Daddy? Now that your up Can you get us some Poppin’-Tarts and turn on our little T.V.?
a lovely write Kimmy
this brings back memory of my kids
when they were small
we would wake up in the mornings
with one or two in our bed
they sneaked in the middle of the night
at times my wife and I would wake up
as they were in the progress
of doing so, we would smile at each other
and make believe, we were in deep sleep
allowing them to escape from the boogyman
thanks Kimmy
your write brought lots of faded fun memories
